Tania is the Managing Director of Eastern Guruma Pty Ltd and an Eastern Guruma Traditional Custodian from the Muntalgura, Guruma in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Since 2004, Tania has held the position of owner and director at Eastern Guruma, a mining civil and facility services business catering to major clients such as Rio Tinto, FMG, and BHP. Prior to this, Tania has also contributed her expertise to the health and education departments, focusing on indigenous communities.

Tania’s active involvement in the operations of Eastern Guruma underscores her commitment to actively employing indigenous peoples and fostering pathways for their training and education in employment opportunities.

Furthermore, Tania is a staunch advocate for the preservation of indigenous culture and traditions, emphasising the importance of land, family, lore, ceremony, and language as the five interconnected elements of Indigenous culture.
