Chris is a husband, father, and experienced commercial executive with over two decades working in the resources industry globally, who’s passionate about improving outcomes and economic empowerment for Aboriginal Peoples.

Chris is a strong action orientated collaborator who has a consistent and proven track record of delivering transformation and results. His experience working across functional and operational teams ensures he’s able to bring stakeholders together to define a clear purpose, build excitement and maximise commercial, social, and operational outcomes, solve complex organisational problems and add value across a broad portfolio.

Prior to joining Eastern Guruma, Chris has been responsible for driving transformational change in the way global resource companies engage with Aboriginal Peoples and businesses. Responsible for both strategy development and execution, he’s demonstrated results increasing the number and quality of opportunities for Aboriginal businesses to participate in the resources industry, increasing financial outcomes, and importantly improving the experience of Aboriginal Peoples and businesses working with large resources companies across people, process, and systems.

Outside work Chris enjoys exciting adventures with his wife Michelle and their two teenage children and is passionate about boating, fishing, camping and food.
