The Bullumu Eastern Guruma Joint Venture is an incorporated joint venture bringing together two Pilbara Traditional owner businesses Bullumu and Eastern Guruma.

Bullumu is a proudly Aboriginal owned civil and construction company. Bullumu was established by Mark Walker, a Nyamal man whose traditional lands span in and around Marble Bar in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia.

Eastern Guruma Pty Ltd. is a 100% female Aboriginal-owned business that provides a variety of essential services, including specialist mine site rehabilitation, facility management, and mine site services. Operating across the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Eastern Guruma is strategically located in key mining areas Tom Price and Paraburdoo positioning itself to meet the specific demands of the mining industry in the region.

EG-WME

EG-WME in a joint venture between two traditional owners Eastern Guruma Muntulgura Guruma & Wirlu-Murra Enterprises have been working together for over 10 years throughout the Pilbara successfully delivering projects & services to Australia’s largest mining companies.

Our industry-leading experience ensures seamless communication, and cost-effective delivery of projects and services whilst prioritising safety across our areas of operations.

In the dynamic world of infrastructure development, EG-WME continues working closely with Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) in various capacities. The company has been actively involved in maintaining roads and car parks, constructing pads for drilling crews, and undertaking significant projects related to green energy and tailings damming on the Solomon site. With a dedicated team and state-of the-art equipment, EG-WME is making a mark in the industry and contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure.

JSW Drilling

Eastern Guruma alongside JSW, were awarded a contract for RC Grade Control and Hydrogeological Borefield Drilling Services. This prestigious project for Fortescue Metals Group has been successfully running for over 10 years as of 2024 and operates across Solomon, Christmas Creek and Cloudbreak Mines. Works completed through this joint venture has successfully trained local Aboriginal trainees to become qualified drillers.
